Project Delivery Manual
Introduction
The Project Delivery Manual has been developed as a tool to facilitate communication between Capital Planning and Project Management, its customers and partners, and the University community. Its goal is to provide a systematic method to deliver projects at the university. For the Project Manager, standard tasks and methodologies have been codified in the manual for the Project Manager’s use throughout all phases of project delivery. Our customers will benefit from having a manual that clearly defines the tasks that a Project Manager should consider for every phase of a project. With greater transparency and standardization created by CPPM’s project delivery model, communication will improve, an enhanced service level culture within CPPM will develop, and customer satisfaction will increase.
The Project Delivery manual outlines nine phases into checklists with key tasks, approvals, and deliverables identified for each phase. on a project-by-project basis, the Project Manager will review each of the nine checklists and make a professional determination as to which tasks are required for the specific project under review.
